Editor: You are manager of Mickey's Ice Cream Parlor. As manager, you Get to set prices and decide when to have a 20% off sale.
Take an order by clicking on the appropriate buttons (small chocolate cone, milk shake, etc.). If the customer changes his mind, you can reduce the quantity of an item by clicking on the small button to the left of the item's quantity. When all items have been entered, click on the "Total" button and 4.5% tax will be added. If you want to have a sale, click on the "Yes" button under the 20% Sale label and prices will be adjusted.
Enter the amount paid by the customer by clicking on the cash buttons at the bottom left and click on the "OK" button. The change will be calculated for you.
Above, you see a customer's order of one small Vanilla cone and one root beer. With tax, the total price with the ongoing sale is $2.38. The customer has paid $5.00 and his change is $2.62.
Prices are set on the Prices window accessed from the menu bar. To change an item's price, double-click a regular price, type the price in Cents (no decimal) and the sale price will be calculated for you.
Sound is supported. You can turn the sound on/off from the menu bar. Sound setting and prices are saved between Sessions.
